Remote Access

While the library is physically closed, many of the library’s resources and services are still available to our students and to the public. Please do not hesitate to contact with us any questions or needs you may have.

Research

For research assistance or other questions, you may contact a libararian – Deb Person (dperson@uwyo.edu) or Amy Pearce (amy.pearce@uwyo.edu). You may also use our general reference email – lawref@uwyo.edu.

Circulation

If you have issues with materials you have checked out, or other circulation questions, you may contact Susan Wozny (woz@uwyo.edu).

The Bluebook

Students should have received instructions via email (on March 23, 2020) to access The Bluebook online for the next 60 days.  If you encounter problems with this code, please contact Deb Person (dperson@uwyo.edu).  Alternatively, the Indigo Book is a free online compilation of Bluebook-equivalent citation rules. It is available at https://law.resource.org/pub/us/code/blue/IndigoBook.html

Electronic Textbooks

Publishers Wolters Kluwer and West Academic/Foundation Press have made select casebooks and other books available electronically for the remainder of the semester for our students. You should have received an email from Deb Person (via Lloyd Baker) on March 23 with instructions for getting access to these materials.

Lexis has uploaded its e-book course book materials to the study guide platform currently accessible through our library database page at https://www.uwyo.edu/lawlib/databases.  Go to our library databases page, then scroll to Study Aids and select LexisNexis (Q&A and Others).

Study Aids

Access to study aid materials for students from LexisNexis, Wolters Kluwer and West Academic is available on the library’s database page (https://www.uwyo.edu/lawlib/databases/).

Database and E-book Access

Access to our library databases is available at https://www.uwyo.edu/lawlib/databases/. For easy off-campus access, log in on this page: https://www-lib.uwyo.edu/services/lawproxy/. Also remember that UW law students also have access to all of the UW Libraries Databases at https://www.uwyo.edu/libraries/research/find/articles.cfm.
