About Dr. Zhong

Ping Zhong joined the University of Wyoming faculty in 2018. He came to the University of Wyoming from the University of Waterloo, Canada, where he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Pure Mathematics.

His research interests are (free) probability theory, operator algebras, quantum information theory and high-dimensional statistics. Recently, he is also interested in applications of random matrix theory and free probability theory for statistics.
