Counseling Degrees

Whether you are pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision or a career as a professional school counselor or mental health counselor, the University of Wyoming may be the place for you!

Students and faculty work closely in Counseling, University of Wyoming

We welcome those who enjoy small-class environments, intensive class discussions, and opportunities for self-direction, self-reflection, and scholarly activity. Our faculty members encourage and support both the self-examination and growth of our students and the development of state-of-the-art, research-based counseling competencies. Our programs promote creativity, divergent thinking, and experiential learning amid a community atmosphere, in which informal faculty and student interactions are the norm.

Master's and doctoral programs at the University of Wyoming are CACREP accredited. Read more about our accreditation.
