Master of Science in Counseling - Laramie

• Admissions information for UW Laramie campus

• Please be sure your application is for the CNSL MS-Laramie program for summer term.

• This is a 2-year, F2F, on-campus, in Laramie, cohort program that admits every summer.

• Please complete your application!

  • Summer 2026:

    • Application Deadline is November 30, 2025 for summer 2026.

    • The application portal for summer 2026 is open! 

  • Summer 2025:

    • Application deadline was December 1, 2024 for summer 2025. 

    • The application portal for summer 2025 is closed.

    • Any updates on the Interview Day event and process will be posted at the link above under Step 3. 

Master of Science in Counseling - UW at Casper

• Admissions information for UW Casper campus

• Please be sure your application is for the CNSL MS-UW at Casper program for fall term.

• This is a 3-year, hybrid, cohort program, (with both online courses AND intensive weekends in Casper) that admits every 3 years in fall. The next cohort will be in fall of 2028.

• Please complete your application!

  • Fall 2025: 

    • Application deadline was January 17, 2025 for fall 2025.

    • The application portal for Fall 2025 is closed.

    • Any updates on the Interview Day event and process will be posted at the link above under Step 3.  

  • Fall 2028:

    • Application deadline is January 20, 2027 for fall 2028.

    • The application portal for fall 2028 will not open until spring of 2027.

Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling

• Admissions Info for Counseling PhD for Laramie campus.

• Application deadline is currently paused.

• We are currently not accepting applications to the CNSL PhD program.

• October 25, 2024: There will not be a Fall 2025 counseling doctoral cohort.

• Feel free to check back in April of 2025 if seriously interested in information about a possible fall 2026 cohort. 

Play Therapy Certificate

• Admissions Information for the Play Therapy Certificate.

• Application Deadline is July 1, 2025 for fall 2025.

• This is a post-master's certificate with three courses; one offered fall, j-term, and spring semesters. Courses are offered in online formats.
