A former journalist with numerous awards to his credit, Steve is responsible for content planning, writing and editing of the university’s flagship publication. He especially enjoys learning and writing about UW’s many energy research programs and partnerships, telling the stories of the people of the university and the state and writing about sports. Steve’s list of awards includes the 2004 Wyoming Sportswriter of the Year from the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association and various honors from the Wyoming Press Association and the Associated Press. When he's not in the office, Steve enjoys co-hosting a daily sports radio show in Laramie, spending time with his wife and daughter, playing poker and cooking.
