Travel Abroad Scholarship

The Religious Studies Program will award two scholarships for UW students for the purpose of mitigating the cost of studying abroad in 2012.

Priority will be given to students who are Religious Studies majors or minors and students who are enrolled in RELI 2040-01 (Mid-East Religions: Travel Abroad to Israel) or RELI 3350 (Religion and Globalization in India: Travel to India) in Summer 2012. 

Those students who are intending to participate in the Hoqoq excavations this summer are also eligible and encouraged to apply for a Religious Studies travel abroad scholarship.

Awards will be announced at the Annual Spring Banquet on March 29, 2012.
