Regional Summer 2006 3D Atlas Institute

In-depth EdPARC workshops are designed to provide teachers with the knowledge and skill necessary to use GIS as a productive tool in the classroom.   Participants receive school site-licenses for ArcView and Prairie to Mountain Explorer data sets.   In addition to basic GIS skills, teachers learn to build and display locally collected data, query multiple data sets, use GPS units, download data and images from the Internet and make interdisciplinary connections to national and local standards.
