Admitted Major
In order to be accepted into the professional degree program of Social Work individuals must apply for and be accepted into Admitted Major. Prior to acceptance into Admitted Major, students majoring in Social Work are considered Tracking Majors.
In order to start the professional degree program course work for Fall 2013 students must submit applications by April 5, 2013.
Information for Admitted Major will be available here in the near future. Please ensure that you are submitting this year's application.
Prerequisites necessary for applying for Admitted Major are:
- Human Biology (PSYC 2080, KIN/ZOO 2040 or its equivalency)
- STAT 2050 or 2070 or its equivalency
- General Psychology (PSYC 1000)
- Macro Economics (ECON 1010)
- US Constitution (POLS 1000)
- Sociological Principals (SOC 1000)
- Introduction to Social Work (SOWK 2000)
