Environmental Politics, Public Administration
Dr. Cawley has been in the Political Science department since 1987. Prior to coming to Wyoming, he taught in the Political Science department at the University of Montana. His primary teaching areas are public administration, environmental politics and federal land policy.
He is the author of Federal Land, Western Anger: The Sagebrush Rebellion and Environmental Politics; and co-editor of A Wolf in the Garden: the Land Rights Movement and the New Environmental Debate.
In addition, he has authored several articles and book chapters in the areas of federal land policy, environmental politics and public administration.
