2008-2009 Scholarship Information for College of Education Undergraduate Students

The scholarship awarding process has undergone a fundamental shift University-wide which includes the College of Education. The most apparent change is the elimination of scholarship application forms and the January deadline for submitting applications.

Students (new and returning) eligible to receive College of Education scholarships will be notified by the University of Wyoming office of Student Financial Aid (307-766-3790 or finaid@uwyo.edu) in fall semester 2008 regarding the amount of their university scholarship offer. After the fall semester add/drop deadline, Student Financial Aid then will provide the College of Education Scholarship Committee with a report containing the names of eligible students who meet the criteria set forth by the donors of College of Education scholarships in order to match students with scholarships.

If additional information is required, students, whose names are listed on report provided by Student Financial Aid will be contacted by the College of Education Scholarship Committee. In all cases, students awarded a College of Education scholarship will be required to write a letter of thanks to the donor(s) before scholarship funds will be released.
