Wyoming Entrepreneur, Casper Area Chamber of Commerce Host Class
June 17, 2010 — A structured class that gives participants practical, working knowledge of QuickBooks software will be offered soon in Casper.
Sponsored by Wyoming Entrepreneur, Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce, the series of five classes covers the different functions of QuickBooks. Classes are June 28-30 and July 6-7 at Casper College's Business Building, Room 125. Registration fee for the entire series is $180.
The classroom has 20 computers and pre-registration is urged by June 21. To receive a registration form, contact the Casper SBDC office at (307) 234-6683.
Tammy Sorensen, a QuickBooks adviser is the course instructor. One of her specialties is QuickBooks set-up and training and has extensive experience working with small business owners. Course topics are set-up and preferences, basic bookkeeping, invoicing, payments and basic reports, vendors and payables and payroll.
Wyoming Entrepreneur is a business consulting group consisting of the Wyoming SBDC with the main office on the UW campus, Wyoming Procurement Technical Assistance Center and the Wyoming Market Research Center. Each of these programs helps Wyoming entrepreneurs succeed. Counseling and most market research services free to state residents.
