Deadline is Friday, March 18, to submit nominations for more than $18,000 in cash and prizes to be awarded at Staff Recognition Day Wednesday, April 20.
Staff Senate recognizes and honors University of Wyoming staff members for excellence in the workplace and years of service milestones. More than 16 staff awards are currently open for nomination, including Employee of the First Quarter (due March 11), says Tonya Gerharter, who heads the Staff Recognition Day Committee.
"Staff Senate encourages you to take a few minutes to identify deserving staff members for their efforts toward excellence in the workplace," Gerharter says. "Peer recognition is an important factor in boosting job satisfaction, productivity and overall morale, so please take advantage of this opportunity."
