The University of Wyoming College of Law plans to examine the responsibilities of the extractive industry during a symposium in the spring.
The Wyoming Law Review Symposium, "Wyoming Law Review Symposium: Energy, Extraction, Environment - An Examination of Responsibility in the Extractive Industry." is March 6-7, at the UW Conference Center at the Hilton Garden Inn in Laramie.
"This will be a balanced forum with representation of industry, government, nonprofit groups, public policymakers and academia," symposium organizers say.
The Wyoming Law Review Board also is seeking paper submissions for the symposium. Visit www.uwyo.edu/law and click on "Wyoming Law Review Symposium 2012" for more information about paper topics, requirements and deadlines. Initial proposals are due by Tuesday, Dec. 20.
