Two Idea Labs for UW Strategic Planning This Week

Members of the University of Wyoming community are invited to participate in two strategic planning Idea Labs this week.

The first, “How Do We Make UW a Great Place to Work?,” is Tuesday, March 29, from 2-4 p.m. in Room 302 of the Classroom Building.

The second, “Enrollment Management and Student Success,” is Wednesday, March 30, from 2-4 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Family Room.

Led by UW’s Strategic Planning Team, the Idea Labs are workshops designed to collect feedback and good ideas. Each two-hour Idea Lab takes a deep dive into a focused topic related to UW’s mission of teaching, research and service.

Tuesday’s Idea Lab will explore issues including ladders of opportunity for staff; remote work; how space usage might change; onboarding; annual reviews; and other processes. Additional sessions are planned to discuss these topics in April.

Wednesday’s session aims to help build out next steps in increasing student success and supporting enrollment management.
