The Wyoming New Options in Technology (WYNOT) project has been a statewide program for many years and was designed to connect individuals with disabilities and other Wyoming residents to information, training, and technical assistance about assistive technology equipment about and services. The federal legislation and associated funding for programs like WYNOT is ending so the project will end soon. To continue providing information about assistive technology devices and services we are developing a new website designed to do that. This website will be available during the summer of 2005.
In addition to that informational website, a new assistive technology project, to be funded through new federal legislation, is being developed by WIND with input from consumers and stakeholders throughout the state. WIND is anxious to unveil the new WIND Assistive Technology Resources program in the fall of 2005.
