Getting to know your top university choices is a crucial part of the college journey. Our admissions team at the University of Wyoming has designed a series of in-person and virtual events throughout the year where you'll get to know the university, learn what we have to offer and a fun mix of activities along the way.

Whether you're just beginning your junior year or preparing for graduation, we have something for everyone including in-person events and our Cowboy Webinars. This page updates frequently so be sure to bookmark us so you can get ready for our next admission event!

  • UW Showcase

    November 12, 2022

    Check-in at 8:30 a.m. MT


    UW Showcase is a FREE Saturday event designed to provide prospective students and parents an insight into the college/school of their academic area of interest. The event also includes lunch in Washakie Dining Center, the opportunity to meet current UW students, learn about campus resources available and hear more about UW and the admissions process.

  • Winter Campus Pass

    We're extending our Campus Pass events this year and offering a winter event for those students interested! Join us to will learn more about UW and our offerings, get a feel for campus and attend a Cowboy basketball game.

    Students who have been accepted to the University of Wyoming are invited to join us for 1 of 4 New Student Day events this spring where you'll have opportunities to connect with programs and resources, meet other new students and even take care of some pre-registration details for fall 2023 if you've confirmed your enrollment.

  • Discovery Day

    April 1, 2023

    9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Mountain Time


    Discovery Day is a FREE Saturday event designed to introduce prospective students and parents to the UW experience in a group setting. There will be a resource fair to connect you with faculty, staff, campus organizations, programs and resources available along with presentations to help you get started with the admissions process.

    May 1, 2023

    ALL DAY!


    If you're planning to attend UW this fall, join us for Signing Day! This is a very special day for high school seniors to help celebrate their college decision with our admissions team who will be traveling to regional high schools on May 1 to enjoy the festivities with you. If we can't be with you in person, you can still commemorate this important decision with our social media toolkit, downloadable party content and more!

Transfer 101 Virtual Events

 

Date: November 1, 2022 | 5-6 p.m.

Join our admissions and transfer relations teams to learn more about the process of transferring to UW, including our pre-transfer credit evaluation tool that can help you estimate how many of your previously earned credits will count towards a degree at the University of Wyoming.

Cowboy Webinars

 
Our virtual webinars are designed to help you understand the admission process at UW. We'll cover important topics and leave time for questions at the end. If you're not able to travel to campus, this is a great way to get started — or try our virtual visit option!

Each Cowboy Webinar begins at 6:00 p.m. mountain time and lasts approximately one hour. Registration for each event is required in order to receive a Zoom link.

If you are interested in a specific event to help you learn more about our diverse programs, many of our schools and colleges host frequent events where you can learn more about their majors and ask questions with an individual approach to your interests.
