The PUA Experience
Guided by faculty mentors, the benefits of the PUA include priority for studio space in the UW Visual Arts building, continued education opportunities, potential funding, and access to departmental equipment, resources, and materials applicable to their area of study. Historically, the post-undergraduate assistantship prepares visual arts students to strategically advance their careers when applying to competitive MFA programs or pursuing other professional opportunities.
Don't forget, PUAs must re-apply for their studio space every semester.
