Admission to the UW Art Museum is always free! This is possible thanks to our generous donors and Museum Friends.

No, the Centennial Complex has free 2-hour visitor parking. If you plan to be at the Centennial Complex for more than 2 hours, sign in at the Visitor Services desk to avoid receiving a parking ticket.

The AHC is an archive and research facility and is a separate entity from the Art Museum. The Art Museum collects and preserves only fine art objects and artifacts, with a primary focus on exhibitions, including contemporary art.

Photography in the galleries is allowed on portable handheld devices only. Flash photography is prohibited in order to protect the art. Photography intended for reproduction will be permitted by the lender for purposes of promotion and/or publishing in conjunction with the exhibition only.

The majority of public programs hosted by the Art Museum are free and you don't need a ticket, you can simply show up. Our opening receptions are also free and open to the public.

The Art Museum does not have a list of appraisers or conservators. You may search for an appraiser using the ASA's Find an Appraiser tool or find a conservator by visiting the American Institute for Conservation's website.

The Art Museum Exhibitions Review Committee meets quarterly to review all exhibition proposals that are received. Details about what to include in your proposal can be found on our website.

Since we are unable to accept or hold any artwork prior to Collections Advisory Committee approval, please do not drop off or send any original artwork. Instead, visit the Exhibition Proposals page on our website and fill out the linked form.

As much as we would love to accept all donations, not all gifts fit within our scope and mission, and the Art Museum and the University of Wyoming have the right to refuse gifts or bequests.
