Adrienne Freng

Adrienne Freng is currently serving as interim dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. Prior to this appointment, Freng had been at the University of Wyoming since 2001 as a faculty member in the Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology.  During her career at the University, Freng has served in many different capacities including department chair, Chair of Faculty Senate, Presidential Faculty Fellow, Faculty Conciliator, as well as serving on numerous university, college, and departmental committees.  Her main areas of research interest focus on juvenile delinquency, gangs, ethics, race and crime issues, and evaluation research.  She has spent most of her professional life studying and working within the juvenile justice system, including currently serving on a number of Advisory Boards addressing juvenile justice issues in the state.
