Nestled in the foothills of the Boghorn Mountains just outside Sheridan, Wyoming, the UW Neltje Center for Excellence in Creativity and the Arts is a place where ideas have room to unfold. Once the home and studio of visionary artist Neltje, the Center now serves as a creative retreat and gathering place for artists, scholars, students, and community members.

Surrounded by sweeping landscapes and thoughtfully designed spaces, the Neltje Center offers an environment that supports deep focus, experimentation, and collaboration. From light-filled studios and welcoming living spaces to expansive outdoor grounds, every corner reflects a commitment to creativity, reflection, and meaningful exchange.
