The Botany Department offers two undergraduate degrees in biology and botany that give students opportunities to work alongside expert faculty, access our research facilities, and gain hands-on field and lab experience.
Biology Bachelor of Science
Students earning a B.S. in biology will gain a solid foundation in the biological sciences that prepares them for a variety of graduate-level programs or careers in the health and environmental fields. The optional Ecology and Evolution Concentration affords biology majors an opportunity to specialize in ecology and evolution.
Botany Bachelor of Science
The Bachelor of Science degree in Botany teaches botany fundamentals, as well as key life sciences and mathematics concepts.
Botany & Biology Minors
Gain further expertise in botany or the biological sciences by adding a minor to your primary degree.
