The UW Online Checkbook provides insight into payment transactions for five fiscal years. The transactions were made by the University of Wyoming through the WyoCloud financial solution, represent payments, and are updated nightly. The data results do not directly correlate with printed budget books or annual budget planning documents.
Additionally, the data presented on this website does not include all University of Wyoming payments as confidential and/or sensitive data protected by state or federal law have been excluded. The State of Wyoming Legislature enacted the Wyoming Public Records Act (W.S. §16-4-201 through 16-4-205) in order to provide the public with access to public records, books, and files of state governmental agencies and requests can be submitted through the UW Public Records Request Portal.
UW’s Chart of Accounts structure consists of eight General Ledger Segments with the ninth not currently used. The Chart of Accounts represents the structure through which financial transactions are organized and reported. This web-site’s results are aggregated to Segment 5: Division and Subdivision based on the Organization; Segment 3: Fund Class Summary; and Segment 2: Natural Account Summary and Natural Account Description.
