Our Mission at the Division of Budget & Finance
The Division of Budget and Finance provides the financial and administrative infrastructure needed for the University of Wyoming to fulfill its core mission of teaching, research and service. The division provides competent, responsive direct and advisory services to the entire university. These services are marked by accountability to the institution, resourcefulness and stewardship of all university assets.
Associated and Supporting Departments/Units
The Budget Office provides strategic and operational leadership in financial planning
and analysis, supporting the university’s mission and initiatives through effective
resource allocation in alignment with academic and administrative priorities.
Business Enterprises manages essential campus services that includes Housing, Dining,
Catering, the University Store, Vending and Copy & Print to deliver high-quality goods
and positive experiences for the UW community.
Financial Affairs oversees the University of Wyoming’s central financial operations.
The department ensures compliance with financial policies and provides essential support
to faculty and staff across campus.
Human Resources manages core functions for the University of Wyoming, including recruitment,
onboarding, benefits, payroll and professional development. The department supports
campus workforce needs through responsive service and regulatory compliance.
The WyoCloud Office supports the University of Wyoming’s primary human resources and
financial system. The office helps manage HR and financial transactions while providing
reports and data tools that support university operations.
