Engineering Honors Requirements:
Complete all of the UW Honors Program requirements, plus the following 9 credits:
- (3) credits in ES 4890 or ES 4580
- (6) credits to be selected from the following, with advisor approval:
- CEPS Study Abroad courses
- CEPS graduate-level courses
- CEPS designated Honors courses
Engineering Honors students can receive up to $1000 toward a study abroad or a technical conference experience. Students wishing to take advantage of the monetary benefit must have the required 3.5 GPA and would be required to submit a brief application explaining how the funds would be used. This benefit would apply to actual costs only. However, students will have an opportunity to use the funds for multiple events, not to exceed $1000. Any awarded funds would be treated as a scholarship applied through the CEPS Student Services scholarship process.

Students in the Engineering Honors Program must maintain a minimum cumulative UW GPA of 3.5. Students in the CEPS College who are pursuing the Honors Core Minor must maintain a minimum cumulative UW GPA of 3.25. See the UW Honors Eligibility Standards for additional eligibility requirements.
