Collaborate With Colleagues

College of Engineering and Physical Sciences

Finding the right research collaborators and partnering with counterparts can be a game-changer for your research. While working with research collaborators from different fields offers a blend of unique perspectives, it also allows access to specialized equipment, funding opportunities, and research facilities that would not otherwise be possible. Benefits of research collaboration include:

  • Comprehensive, High-Quality Research
  • Improved Chance of Publication
  • Increase in Peer Networking
  • Fostering of Cross-Discplinary Understanding

Despite the many benefits and growing collaborative research trends, finding the right partners or research collaborators can be a challenge. So, if you are looking for research collaborators, then submit your research request here to be featured on this webpage and start collaborating with your colleagues!

RESEARCH TITLE: 2D Magneto-Optical Microscopy on Low-Dimensional Heterostructures

SUMMARY: Due to proximity nature of 2D materials, the 2D heterostructures(2DH) involving 2D magnets and 2D semiconductors present themselves with promising intrinsic properties for magneto-optical manipulation that is essential for quantum technology development. This project aims to study optical response in 2DH by thoroughly testing the sample with the cutting-edge magento-optical microscopy capable of temperature/electrical bias/external magnetic field control. Furthermore, the multi laser line excitation and the time-resolved laser excitation for this instrument enables investigation of resonant excitonic dynamic in pico-second time intervals.
