The Engineering Summer Program for Teachers (ESP4T) is a weeklong professional development workshop hosted by the University of Wyoming Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department. The workshop focuses on the use of Physical Computing (using Arduinos and Raspberry Pis) as a teaching tools to engage K-12 students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Join Us for ESP4T 2026!

The Engineering Summer Program for Teachers (ESP4T) is a weeklong professional development workshop for K12 teachers hosted at the University of Wyoming and will be taking place:  July 20-24, 2026. Please Note: This will be the only ESP4T session. The session will be five full days, Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30 pm. 

 

Learn how you can enrich your curricula with physical computing, including Raspberry Pi, Arduino, drones, and sensors! This intensive workshop features plenty of hands-on fun led by UW faculty, experienced K12 teacher mentors, and electrical engineering students.

 

All materials for the course are included, with lesson plans and learning modules available electronically. Accommodations and meals are provided, and a stipend available.
