Work with your faculty advisor to select committee members based on your research focus. Submit the "Committee Assignment" form through the appropriate protal. Updates require submitting a revised form. Graduate Student Forms

All M.S. Plan A and Ph.D. students must orally defend their thesis/dissertation in a public presentation. You must submit a written copy of your thesis/dissertation to your committee at least two weeks before your defense, and provide an announcement to the department. The results of the examination are reported on the Report of Final Examination form. Graduate committee members may request changes in the thesis, and they may postpone signing the form until they are satisfied that those changes have been made.

Teaching and research assistantships are typically renewed each year based on academic progress and performance. Additional fellowships, travel grants, and summer research funding may be available. Financial Assistance
