The University of Wyoming's Chemistry Department offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as research opportunities in a variety of topic areas. The department enrolls 110 undergraduate and 50 graduate students, and houses world-renowned and award-winning faculty.

Giving to the Chemistry Department

Laura de Sousa Oliveira, a UW assistant professor of inorganic chemistry, received a five-year, $874,296 DOE grant to study thermoelectric performance. The grant begins Sept. 1 and runs through Aug. 31, 2028.
