Dr. Bernal experienced two years in General Surgery and two years as the lead clinical research fellow in the RESTOR JBSA lab prior to joining family medicine residency. His areas of interest dealt with regenerative medicine to improve the lives and outcomes of injured people. He will carry out what he's learned in transistion for better patient care.
