Dr. Tianna Mack was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She has been in Texas for
most of the past 9
years where she completed her education. She is delighted to be closer to home. She
earned her medical degree at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic
Medicine in San Antonio, Texas and her undergraduate at Texas Christian University
in Fort Worth, Texas, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a
minor in Spanish. As a Colorado native who grew up spending her winter weekends in
the mountains, she craved the idea of living in and working at a ski resort, so she
did just that. She had the opportunity to become a ski instructor after being accepted
into medical school. Her decision to pursue this goal before her journey into medicine
reinforced her philosophy of balance.
Through each phase of life, her passions have been expressed in different manners,
but the principles have remained constant, rooted in a genuine desire to bring joy
to people’s lives amidst their challenges, learn
their story, and have a lasting impact. Building relationships with patients and patient
families is a part of
Tianna’s soul, making Family Medicine a perfect fit for her. She has strong interests
in women's health,
emergency medicine, integrative medicine which includes incorporating nutrition, wellness
and exercise as a
part of her practice. When not at work or studying, she enjoys anything active from
yoga to rollerblading to
skiing as well as spending time with family and friends. She loves a good cup of coffee
and welcomes all
book recommendations.
