William D. Griffith scholarships

Thanks to the generosity of William D. Griffith, students majoring in Criminal Justice & Criminology at the University of Wyoming benefit from enhancements to the program provided by these funds. These enhancements include William D. Griffith scholarships, a speakers series, access to related educational opportunities, and support for student club activities. Each year, up to three students (a sophomore, a junior, and a senior) majoring in Criminal Justice & Criminology can receive a William D. Griffith Scholarship. A faculty committee selects recipients based on their academic records, outside activities such as community service, clubs, and organizations.

Three $1,500 Scholarships
  • Three $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to: one sophomore, one junior, and one senior
  • Applicants must be majoring in Criminal Justice & Criminology at the University of Wyoming
  • Please submit your resume and a letter of application to the Griffith Committee containing your interest in the scholarship, career aspirations, explanation of need and extent and nature of outside activities (community service, clubs and organizations)
