Criminal Justice (CJ) is a social science that critically examines the causes, control,
and prevention of criminal behavior. Our department offers an interdisciplinary degree
program that exposes students to diverse scholarship from fields such as criminology,
political science, sociology, psychology and anthropology.
The Department of Criminal Justice is committed to providing its students with a broad
liberal arts education. This will help prepare CJ students for a variety of professions,
