Grand Teton UW-NPS Research Station
The University of Wyoming-National Park Service (UW-NPS) Research Station is a cooperative effort between the University of Wyoming and the National Park Service.
The station is centrally located in Grand Teton National Park just north of Leek’s marina, on Jackson Lake, about 1 hour north of Jackson, WY and 20 minutes south of Yellowstone National Park.
The station has affordable housing and a large lecture room in the Berol lodge along with a neighboring conference room. Basic lab facilities as well as canoes, kayaks, and use of a Pelican research boat are all available to station guests.
It is one of only a handful of field stations in US National Parks and by far the oldest partnership of this kind. In 2018, UW and NPS celebrated 65 years of cooperation in Grand Teton National Park.
