Biography 

David Des Armier has extensive experience teaching online in higher education, including educational research methods, instructional technology, and higher education administration. He earned his PhD in education, specializing in adult and postsecondary education, with a minor in quantitative research methods from the University of Wyoming. David also has ten years of experience working as a faculty developer and instructional designer in higher education, specializing in online teaching and learning. David’s research interests explore the factors influencing teaching and learning, including student engagement and motivation, the implementation of technology, and beliefs and viewpoints regarding the use of technology in educational settings. David also explores challenges related to the growth of faculty and graduate students/adult learners in online education, the process of designing online courses, and the effectiveness of online teaching.

 

Job Description 

Teach graduate-level online/distance courses in educational research methods and higher education administration. Continuously maintain and improve expertise in the subjects being taught. Utilize online/distance education methods. Develop innovative teaching materials and comprehensive resources to improve learning outcomes. Actively engage with students, offering in-depth academic guidance and support to enhance their educational experience. Chair and advise graduate students' thesis, capstone, and dissertation projects. Commit to continuous professional development, aligning with the highest standards in the field of educational research and higher education.
