Job Description
Julianna Worden is an Academic Advising Professional in the College of Education Student
Success Center. She provides personalized advising to undergraduate students, guiding
them through degree requirements, course planning, and connecting their academic experiences
to long-term career goals. She combines strong relationships with clear, experience-based
guidance, helping students navigate their academic journey while preparing them for
the realities of the teaching profession.
A proud UW alum, Julianna earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with
an Early Childhood Education endorsement. Before joining the advising team, she taught
4th grade in rural Colorado—an experience that continues to shape her work with future
educators. Drawing on her classroom experience and understanding of the teaching profession,
she brings both empathy and practical insight to her advising conversations.
Julianna works closely with students to meet their unique needs, supporting both their
academic progress and professional development. She also holds a Colorado READ Act
endorsement and is a certified Agricultural Literacy Educator, reflecting her continued
commitment to literacy and outreach in education. Julianna is excited to support the
next generation of educators and contribute to the mission of the College of Education.
