Interests
Tiffany is passionate about human rights, including those of immigrants, women, and
LGBTQIA+ people. Her interests include education, journalism, animal rights, literacy,
peace, progress, and climate change.
She enjoys learning, reading, writing, online sleuthing, problem solving, obsessing over the news, space, weather, and natural disasters. She practices yoga daily, and enjoys spending time with her husband, family, close friends, and her cats.
Job Description
Tiffany J. Le GAL serves as the Office Associate, Senior in the School of Counseling,
Leadership, Advocacy, and Design (CLAD). We prepare leaders in Counseling (CNSL),
Educational Leadership K-12 (EDAD), and Educational Research (EDRE), Higher Education
Administration (HIED), Learning, Design, and Technology (LDT), and Special Education
(SPED/EDEX). CLAD offer programs in each area, such as Doctor of Education (EdD),
Master of Science (MS) and/or a Master of Arts (MA), post-master certificates, in
addition to minors in quantitative and qualitative research. Tiffany is the primary
contact for the School of CLAD. She focuses on supporting almost four hundred graduate
students, twenty-two faculty members, and a dozen adjuncts. Her responsibilities are
broad, requiring communication with all faculty and students. She helps students to
complete graduate applications, manages all CLAD admissions, assists with the Reappointment,
Tenure and Promotion Process (RTP), CLAD Scholarships, CNSL Interview Days, CLAD events,
conferences, Omni website updates, office manager duties, departmental budget stuff,
and whatever else is needed. This position ensures the effective operation of the
School of CLAD and supports the College of Education’s missions and goals.
