22a Size smaller, length of body males 12 to 15.5 mm, females 17 to 19 mm. Tegmina usually distinctly two colored, the costal area light and dovetailing into the dark median area and producing a deeply sinuate border.

Cordillacris crenulata (Bruner)


22b Size larger, length of body males 16 to 17 mm, females 21 to 22 mm. Tegmina light brownish gray with a row of elongate spots in median area, the spots sometimes confluent but not producing a deeply sinuate border.
