Faculty Development in Jerusalem

UW in Jerusalem provides opportunities for faculty research, professional development, and global seminar creation. Every year, faculty build their own careers and create new educational pathways for students in Jerusalem and the surrounding region.

Teaching UW in Jerusalem

Each year, pairs of UW faculty from different disciplines, and who have trained in the UW in Jerusalem cohort, or shadowed a UW in Jerusalem course, develop and teach programs in Jerusalem. Their courses typically have a first footprint at the WF Albright Institute of Archaeological Research, then move across the region. Courses embrace the varied resources of the region through transdisciplinary teaching.

Applications should be from pairs of faculty from different disciplines, for majors across the curriculum. Courses that meet general education and disciplinary requirements are preferred.

*Proposals for UW in Jerusalem courses are not being accepted at this time.*
