Communities, organizations, and individuals are looking for ways to live and operate more sustainability; to consume fewer nonrenewable resources and create less waste; to create systems that support people to be prosperous, healthy, and productive; and to work toward a better, more equitable world for future generations. Add the minor in Sustainability to any undergraduate degree program at the University of Wyoming to learn how to understand, analyze, and implement sustainable solutions.
Foundations of sustainability, ethics, Campus Sustainability capstone - where you’ll design and implement a real project to enhance sustainability at UW or the surrounding community—and a custom set of elective courses on sustainable design, energy, food systems and more.
Our economy and our world are changing rapidly. Many of the jobs, career paths, and professional opportunities you could take after you graduate might not even exist yet! The Haub School will prepare you to be a nimble, creative, and critical thinker, building the skills, knowledge, and tools you can apply to wherever you want to forge a path in the future.
Career opportunities exist in private business like textiles and manufacturing organizations, corporations, and energy companies, educational and research organizations like universities, and labs; non-profits that specialize in food justice, science communication, public engagement, and climate change mitigation and adaptation, and government programs that manage and support sustainability initiatives and research.
