With our expertise in storytelling, graphic design, video production, publishing, and outreach, we bridge complicated science and policy understanding generated at academic and research institutions to the people who are working with natural resources on the ground. We also help agencies, organizations, and offices develop outreach materials to help the public better understand their work on complex environmental issues.

Our email newsletter shares biannual updates collaboration, convening, and communications work, as well as timely reminders about upcoming events and registration deadlines.

Western confluence

Our annual print magazine explores natural resource science and management in the West, with each issue themed around a specific challenge like water, sustainable outdoor recreation, wildlife conservation, and invasive species. A range of articles share on-the-ground, science-based stories of interdisciplinary, collaborative solutions to our toughest natural resource challenges, while supporting new and emerging environmental writers. Articles are available online throughout the year and both email and print subscriptions are free. The call for pitches for each new issue in released in the fall, and the print edition is published in the winter.
