Laptop Check Out Policy
- Only ten laptops are available, so they are checked out on a FCFS (First Come First Served) basis.
- The laptop can only be checked out for an exam or presentation, not for personal use.
- The borrower must specify the exact time frame of use, and the laptop must be returned within 30 minutes after that time.
- The reservation must be made at least 24 hours in advance (to allow the borrower find other arrangements in case of unavailability), but the laptop can only be picked up on the day of use.
- If the laptop is accidentally damaged (by human error, not by laptop failure), the borrower is responsible for the repair fee if it is determined that Edward can't fix it or a new hardware part not covered by the warranty is needed.
