QuickSearch is our online library catalog and contains materials physically located in the library.  It also displays a variety of electronic resources, such as ebooks that are available full text from any campus computer and holdings within select databases. Interlibrary loan services are available to students, if we don't have the resource you're looking for the law library help desk can try to track down the text or find a copy for you and make it conveniently available in the law building.

CALI is an online lesson platform made by The Center for Computer Assisted Legal Instruction. Some of our professors assign CALI lessons as course work but it also contains many helpful lessons on law school success, legal research, and more!

There is opportunity to publish student papers outside your own law school's law review. It can be a lengthy and frustrating process because the competition to publish is very stiff, but if you feel that you have a unique piece that adds to the dialogue of the discipline, it may be worth your time to submit your work to other legal publishers. Without question, publication of your work gives you an advantage in the job market.

The law library has individual study carrels available for students. Carrels are assigned via lottery usually held within the first weeks of the fall semester. Please review our Carrel Policy.

As a law student, when putting a book from UW libraries on hold it will be delivered to your school mailbox. The book will be checked out to you immediately once it arrives at the help desk and placed in a mailbox package drawer.

Did you know you can request any book we don't have in the library through interlibrary loan? As a student, you have access to UW Libraries inter library loan service. To request materials, click here.
