Math 1080: Bridge Math

MATH 1080, part of the Summer Bridge Program, is a course to assist students in refreshing their skills in mathematics from the fundamentals of arithmetic to college-level algebra, trigonometry, and sometimes even basic calculus concepts. The class is largely self-paced with ample support from math faculty. While the course is not a prerequisite for other classes, nor does it satisfy the USP Q requirement, MATH 1080 does count towards elective credit. Students will take the math placement exam twice during the course. Due to the amount of preparation and faculty support, students often test into a higher level math or stats course than previously anticipated.
