Math 1080: Bridge Math

Math 1080: Bridge Math is part of the Summer Bridge Program.

Math 1080 is a course to assist students in refreshing their skills in Mathematics, from the fundamentals of arithmetic, college level algebra, trigonometry, and sometimes basic calculus concepts. This class is largely self-paced, but with intrusive faculty support. Math 1080 counts as an elective credit.  Although it is neither a “Q” class for the University Studies Program, nor a prerequisite for any class, students may get into a higher level math or stats class than they were initially advised because they will take the Math Placement Exam three times during the course.
