Reopening of 15th Street Tuesday at UW; 22nd Street Closure July 21-Aug. 1

After an extended closure related to the construction of new residence halls at the University of Wyoming, 15th Street through campus will reopen to the public Tuesday, July 15.

Meanwhile, activities related to the construction of the UW Aquatics Center will necessitate a temporary closure of 22nd Street between Arrowhead Lane and Willett Drive between Monday, July 21, and Friday, Aug. 1. Installation of electrical, fiber, sewer and stormwater infrastructure will take place during that time.

The opening of UW’s new North Residence Hall is scheduled Friday, Aug. 15. The Aquatics Center is scheduled for completion in summer 2026.
