The University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy Continuing Pharmacy Education Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) to provide continuing pharmacy education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

 

The University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

Continuing pharmacy education credit for eligible activities is submitted electronically to CPE Monitor®, the collaborative service of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

 

To receive credit, learners must provide a valid NABP e-Profile ID and their month and day of birth at the time of registration or as otherwise instructed for each educational activity.

  • View the instructions to find your NABP e-Profile ID.
  • Learners are responsible for providing accurate information to ensure successful reporting of continuing pharmacy education credit.

 

Continuing pharmacy education credit is reported electronically to CPE Monitor® after all activity requirements have been successfully completed. Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks after the program evaluation closes for credit to be submitted.

 

Learners are responsible for verifying that credit has been successfully reported to their CPE Monitor® account. Any questions or discrepancies must be reported to the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy Continuing Pharmacy Education Program within 60 days of completing the educational activity. Requests received after this timeframe may not be eligible for correction or resubmission.

Requirements for earning continuing pharmacy education credit vary by activity and are provided in the activity announcement. Depending on the educational format, learners may be required to:

  • Register for the activity.
  • Attend the educational session or complete the activity.
  • Complete all required assessments or learning activities.
  • Submit the required activity evaluation.

The University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy Continuing Pharmacy Education Program is guided by a Continuing Pharmacy Education Advisory Board composed of pharmacy professionals representing a variety of practice settings and areas of expertise.

 

The Advisory Board provides valuable insight into emerging healthcare trends, educational needs and professional practice priorities, helping ensure that our continuing pharmacy education program remains relevant, evidence-informed and responsive to the evolving needs of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

 

The Advisory Board also provides recommendations regarding educational priorities, program development and opportunities for collaboration while supporting the continuous quality improvement of the Continuing Pharmacy Education Program.
