Trinidad Padilla

The Procurement Services team at the University of Wyoming administers all procurement activities in accordance with state, federal, and university regulations. They also manage the supplier database, oversee the Supplier Self-Registration process, and maintain the Procurement Card program to streamline purchases of goods and services. By partnering closely with departments and suppliers, they strive to secure the best value for every university dollar spent.

 

As a Project Manager in Procurement & Payment Services, Trinidad assists with reviewing requisition and contract requests from a Procurement standpoint as well as working with areas on campus on conducting Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Sole Source Notification (SSN) processes when required by policy.  Trinidad’s main areas of focus include scientific and research areas, lab equipment, lab supplies, consulting, and management services, along with subawards. He serves as a functional lead for procurement in the WyoCloud financial system as well. Trinidad is always happy to have conversations about the best ways to procure goods and services for the university and help ensure alignment with policy and procedures.
