Men's Rugby

About the Team

Founded in 1972 by students, the Men's Rugby club now competes in Collegiate Elite D1A Rocky Mountain Conference. They usually play Colorado State University, CU-Boulder, Utah State University, Montana State University and the University of New Mexico. This team has had a great effect on UW-most of our success has been with teams of a few people from outside the state, but largely Wyoming students who love to compete and build great teams. They have come together as individuals to play a sport that is far harder than most and requires very hard training and dedication. The team typically competes in 15's during the fall and 7's in the spring.

  • 2016 & 2017 represented Rocky Mountain Conference at the National Championship

Individual

  • 5 USA Eagles

  • 19 All-Americans (15's)

  • 2 players invited to Olympic Training Center in San Diego (7's)
