J-Term Course Information

These courses take place between the end of the fall semester and the start of the spring semester, offering students the opportunity to earn additional credits in a condensed timeframe. All course offerings count toward a student's spring course load and appear on transcripts as spring coursework.

J-Term I begins December 23, 2024 and ends January 17, 2025

  • Add Deadline - 12/26/24
  • Drop Deadline - 12/26/24
  • Withdraw Deadline - 1/07/25

 

J-Term II begins January 6, 2025 and ends January 31, 2025

  • Add Deadline - 1/8/25
  • Drop Deadline - 1/9/25
  • Withdraw Deadline - 1/21/25

Students interested in viewing and enrolling in J-Term courses should utilize the Advanced Search function when browsing Spring courses:  

  • In the Parts of Term category select "J term 1 (Winter Break)" or "J term 2 (Winter Break)"
  • Hit Search and the scheduled J-Term offerings will display 

Students can enroll in J-Term courses at the same time they register or when they are eligible to register for Spring courses and should plan accordingly.
