Grade Point Average

Grade point average (GPA) is the sum of all grade points earned in a semester or term divided by all credit hours attempted for letter grade. GPA is used for determining activity, eligibility, honors, probation, suspension, graduation and for all comparisons or purposes requiring measurement of academic standing. You can view your semester and cumulative GPAs on your transcript, which can be viewed through WyoRecords.

Total credit hours attempted for a letter grade: 14

Total quality points earned: 37

Note: Developmental courses do not count toward a student's earned hours or grade point average; these courses are applied toward a student's full-time status. Developmental courses are those mathematics and English courses with course numbers less than 1000 (e.g. MATH 0900, MATH 0925, and ENGL 0200), which are used only as prerequisites for other courses.
