Process for Approval: Departmental Administrative Policies and Procedures
For new DAPs, revised DAPs, or DAPs that need to be rescinded:
- Pursuant to UW Regulation 1-4 Shared Governance, the applicable Vice President or Dean/Director works with General Counsel and applicable
stakeholders to propose a new DAP or modifications to a DAP.
- General Counsel sends the DAP to constituent groups for review and feedback.
- General Counsel submits the DAP and any feedback to the applicable Vice President or Dean/Director for incorporation of feedback as needed and review and consideration (final approval).
